How it works
- Enter your nationality and age. Add your current visa, or leave it empty if you don’t have a Korean visa yet.
- If you like, open Personalize your map and add what you know: family, Korean descent, education, Korean level, work experience and money to invest. Anything left empty keeps all options open.
- Press Draw my map and choose your next step: your path turns green and the next options appear.
- Continue until you reach a ★ F-5 permanent-residence visa, then download your map as an image.
Options marked ✈ need a new visa from abroad: you leave Korea and apply at a Korean consulate. ✓ marks options your details unlock, such as a Korean spouse or Korean descent. Options that don’t fit your details are hidden; the button under a row shows them and the reason.
Important
This map is a simplified guide based on public information from the Korea Immigration Service and the Ministry of Justice as of October 2026. Every visa has more conditions than fit here, such as documents, a clean record, income and Korean-language levels, and the rules change often. Income thresholds are based on GNI per capita (₩52.4M for 2025).
Before you apply, check with HiKorea or the immigration call centre 1345. This page is general information, not advice on your own case.
