Visa docs

The documents to prepare for your next Korean visa, from the official lists, with Korean names.

Type a code such as D-2 or a word, or choose "No visa yet".

Every visa with an official document list. Check the requirements: not every change is allowed from every visa. ✈ = apply from abroad; ✈* = from abroad, or in Korea in some cases.

Report a problem

Tell us what went wrong: a visa that should or shouldn't be offered, a wrong condition, a problem with the picture…

Sending is up to you. To fix the page and reply to you, we send the KVP Partners team, through Telegram (servers outside Korea): your message, your name and contact if given, your choices on this page with a picture of it, and your browser type. Sensitive answers, such as Korean descent, are left out. We delete the report once the problem is fixed. Please don't write health, religion or criminal-record details. Privacy policy

How it works

  1. Choose your nationality and your current visa, or “No visa yet”.
  2. Choose the visa you want: type a code or a word, or pick it from the list. Your visa’s usual next steps come first, then every other visa with an official document list (✈ means you apply from abroad; ✈* means from abroad, or in Korea in the cases the manual allows: choose under How do you apply?). To stay longer on your current visa instead, tick Extend my current visa.
  3. If you like, open Make the list yours and answer the questions. They come from the official list itself: its applicant cases, the extra documents it asks for some occupations and regional programmes, and the documents it marks as “if applicable”. Cases that apply only to some nationalities, such as visa agreements, are shown only to them. Without answers you see every document, with a note on who needs it.
  4. Download the list as a picture.

Each document shows its Korean name, so you can ask for it in Korean.

Where there is one, a link takes you to the official form or the online service that issues the document.

Important

The lists are copied from the Korea Immigration Service manuals (September 2026 edition); the source is shown under each list. For a few visas the manual names only part of the documents, and the page says so. The immigration office or the embassy can ask for more documents in your case, and the rules change, so check with HiKorea or the immigration call centre 1345 before you apply. This page is general information, not advice on your own case.
